Popular Restaurants with Vegan Options!

As wonderful as it is to go to an all vegan restaurant and be able to order everything off of the menu-this isn’t always possible for every meal. Sometimes we aren’t with friends who want to only eat vegan food and sometimes there just isn’t an all vegan restaurant in the area. But no need to fear! You will not be starving today! A lot of popular chain restaurants have vegan options hidden in the menu. Don’t worry, you no longer have to be a detective to find food you can eat, I’ve done all the work for you!

*DISCLAIMER* I have verified all of these with the restaurant’s websites, but I am not responsible for any accidentally non-vegan things.

Red Robin

I know what you’re thinking. What the hell Kayla. There’s no way I can eat anything at a burger joint. Yes, yes you can! Red Robin is able to substitute a Boca vegan burger for anything! I typically order the vegan burger with avocado in a letucce wrap. Not only is it cheap and convinent-it’s healthy! Red Robin’s fries are also vegan and TO DIE FOR!

Taco Bell

I think the best day of my life was when I discovered nearly everything at Taco Bell could be made vegan. So what exactly can you order…and how?

Crunch Wrap Supreme (my personal favorite)

Ask for it vegetarian style (black beans instead of beef) with no sour cream or cheese

Tacos

Ask for beans instead of beef

Spicy Tostada

Remove cheese and chipotle sauce

And at every Taco Bell they have an ingredients list-just ask if you have any concerns!

Chipotle

I would put this on the list 150 times if I could. Chipotle is one of my all time favorite places to eat. Let’s talk about what you can order at chipotle!

Step 1: Choose salad, burrito, bowl, or taco

Step 2: White or Brown cilantro lime rice

Step 3:  Black or Pinto beans and/or veggies

Step 4: Sofritas

Step 5: Corn, Mild, Medium, and/or Hot salsa

Step 6: Letucce and/or guacamole

I swear whatever you chose it will be amazing!

Burger King

Burger King does have a veggie burger, but it unfortuntely contains milk. But don’t worry-their french fries are vegan and so worth adding them to this post!

Starbucks

Nearly every drink that doesn’t contain caramel drizzle, mocha, pumpkin spice, or white mocha can easily be made vegan by substituting dairy for almond, coconut, or soy milk! But if you’re hungry-you can still eat here! Starbucks recently came out with an avocado spread which is 100% vegan and 100% delicious. Spread it on a plain or 7-grain bagel for a filling meal! Be careful of everything bagels though-they have cheese on the top!

The Cheesecake Factory

Ironic that something with “cheese” in the name has a gold mine of vegan options-but it’s true! Their veggie burger, penne pasta dish, and cobb salad are all vegan! The menu also has a “V” next to vegan options-so you might even find more options that I missed!

Papa Johns/Pizza Hut

Both Papa John’s and Pizza hut have vegan crusts! Load it up with all of your favorite veggies and ask for no cheese!

Olive Garden

OLIVE GARDEN BREADSTICKS ARE VEGAN. I REPEAT. OLIVE GARDEN BREADSTICK ARE VEGAN!

Now I personally eat enough breadsticks to sustain me for 12 days, but just in case you were looking for an actual meal, Olive Garden has us vegans covered! You can order angel hair, fettuccine, gluten-free rotini, small shells, and spaghetti with the kids marinara sauce! And Olive garden just recently made their minestrone soup vegan-so you can have a full meal!

Subway

Subway is a great place because you can customize your sub and see exactly what they are putting in it. Load it up with all of your favorite veggies-and some locations even have guacamole and a vegan patty to throw in there!

There we are! You no longer have to starve!

There are probably MILLIONS more places out there with vegan options, but I just picked the most popular places in my area. I hope you enjoyed this post! Please be sure to leave a comment telling me what you were most shocked about and any more places you know of!

Have a  lovely morning, afternoon or evening!
